Terryalin Chapman's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Terryalin "Terry" Chapman October 17, 1936 – April 4, 2025
With deep sorrow and immense gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Terryalin "Terry" Chapman on April 4, 2025. Terry was a woman of integrity, a beacon of grace, and a soul filled with unwavering faith. She sought to embody godly character, much like Ruth in the Book of Ruth—a woman of strength, loyalty, and quiet wisdom.
Her heart of gold was evident in every facet of her life. She was a mother who loved deeply, a friend who encouraged warmly, and a prayer intercessor who carried others in faith. With a silent strength and steadfast grit, Terry lived with discernment and kindness, showing love and grace to everyone she encountered.
Terry’s talents enriched the lives of many. She had a gift for painting, creating beauty with every stroke. In the kitchen, she was an exceptional Southern cook, crafting meals that comforted and connected loved ones. Her humor, sometimes unintentional, was endearing, reminding all who knew her that joy can be found in life's simplest moments.
She is survived by her beloved children: Jeff Chapman and wife Brenda, Dedra Chapman, and Dana Chapman and husband Tim Heer. Her cherished grandchildren, Austin Chapman and Madison Crandell, carry forth her legacy of love and faith.
Terry has now been reunited with her husband, Kenneth Chapman; her parents, Tillie and Lillian McCaslin; her sister, Bertie Lou McCaslin; and her brother, James McCaslin. Though she has departed from this world, her spirit remains with us—alive in the lessons she taught, the love she shared, and the grace she exuded.
May her memory be a blessing, and may we honor her by living with the same faith, kindness, and strength she so beautifully embodied.
